Manga Characters Dressed in Formal Black and White
Thousands of colorful characters of all kinds and sizes populate the world of Japanese animation. They are often categorized not just by their personalities or abilities, but also by their attire and fashion sense. All anime characters, with a few exceptions, wear clothing, and their wardrobe may tell a lot about them.
Some anime characters dress up in formal military or school uniforms, while others dress up in superhero or villain costumes, and yet others just wear hoodies or jeans on the street. Meanwhile, certain anime characters are recognized for wearing one hue over all others, while several anime characters dress mostly or wholly in black
Tomura Shigaraki Has A Dark Villain Costume (My Hero Academia)
Apart from his bright red sneakers, which are eerily evocative of Izuku's own shoes, Tomura Shigaraki, the supervillain of My Hero Academia, prefers to dress in gloomy hues, mostly black, while donning his basic villain outfit. In addition to his amputated hands, he wears a dark blue V-neck shirt, black jeans, and a black hoodie.
All For One, who wears a Darth Vader-style black helmet and a black suit with a white shirt, wears a Darth Vader-style black helmet and a black suit with a white shirt. Tomura doesn't need a mask and isn't particularly fond of suits, but he like to dress in black.
Kirito Is The Black Swordsman (Sword Art Online)
Kirito, the video game hero of Sword Art Online, wears a black clothing almost all of the time, earning him the moniker "the black swordsman." His moniker might be a play on Berserk's gritty antihero Guts, who wears a black cloak and wields a huge sword.
Kirito isn't quite as dark as Guts, yet he may be grumpy at times and lacks charm. Despite this, he will continue to battle to rescue everyone from Aincrad and other digital realms. Kirito can even use two swords at the same time to defeat the game's most difficult boss encounters.

The evil Azami Nakiri, the cold and calculating father of the charming tsundere Erina Nakiri, is the primary antagonist of the culinary anime series Food Wars! Azami, unlike his daughter, always wears in gloomy hues, regardless of the weather. He's even got black gloves on.
Azami wears an all-black outfit most of the time, from his dark gray shirt and drab tie to his black suit jacket and black coat, which complements his black hair and similarly dark eyes. His whole physical appearance screams "evil!"
Misa Amane Favors Goth Outfits (Death Note)
Light's ally Misa Amane started wearing increasingly colorful clothing during Death Note, such as during the struggle against Near and Mello. Misa, on the other hand, wore nearly exclusively in black in the first major plot arc; she was enamored of Goth pop culture iconography and apparel, such as a batwing handbag and Tim Burton-style plush animals.
Misa wore lacy dresses and beautiful chokers back then to play off her Goth motif, which contrasted dramatically with Rem, her patron shinigami. Misa donned lace sleeves and striped tights on occasion, and she continued to do so until L was defeated. She then revamped her clothes.
Saki Hanajima Prefers All Black (Fruits Basket)
Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket prefers bright colors, but her creepy companion Saki Hanajima, like Misa Amane, wears in all black Goth costumes. Saki will wear the regular girls' uniform to school, but as soon as she comes home, she will change into the darkest garments she can find.
Saki wears all black to symbolize her loneliness and dread of her own magical skills. It's her way of making up for her previous transgressions, and she even wears matching black nail paint. Tohru is accustomed to it all, but everyone who meets Saki for the first time is taken aback.
Kankuro Is A Master Of Puppets (Naruto)
Kankuro is a Naruto character that comes from the Hidden Sand Village. Despite the desert heat, he constantly wears all black, including a hooded cap with cat-like ears. Kankuro doesn't appear to mind the heat, but he does change his violet face paint every now and again.
Kankuro is primarily renowned for his usage of puppet jutsu, an unique sort of ninjutsu that enables the operator to command lethal puppets constructed of wood and metal that are armed. To Kiba's surprise, he even used his puppets to finish off Sakon and Ukon of the Sound Four.
Lan Fan Wears Black Into Battle (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)
Lan Fan is one of prince Ling Yao's two bodyguards, the other being her grandpa, Fuu, from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. They aren't alchemists, but they did have rigorous assassin training, and they eagerly fought with their Amestrian comrades against the homunculi.
Lan Fan fights wearing a mask, black attire, and armor, including black boots and fingerless gloves, and Edward Elric mistook her for a man until she was unmasked. Lan Fan later lost an arm, but was able to replace it with an automail replacement in time for the last fight.
Tatsumaki Wears A Black Hero Costume (One-Punch Man)
Tatsumaki, the diminutive yet strong heroine of One-Punch Man, is placed 2nd among the Hero Association's S-ranked heroes, which speaks much about her abilities as a superhero. Tatsumaki is completely committed to defending the world from monsters and villains, despite her brattish tsundere attitude, and she has a little rivalry with Saitama, who constantly stealing her thunder.
Tatsumaki is dressed in an all-black gown with a high neck and a slit up the side, as well as dark high heels. Tatsumaki's attire isn't the most iconic hero suit, but her deeds scream louder than her words or apparel.
Zeref Dragneel Tends To Wear Mostly Black (Fairy Tail)
Zeref Dragneel, the wicked wizard from Fairy Tail, is also Natsu's long-lost brothe, and he is desperate to reconcile with his family, even if it means putting everyone else in danger. Natsu cares deeply for his family, but he disagrees with Zeref's ways, forcing the two of them to battle.
Zeref's clothing is mostly black, with a high-collared coat and black boots that complement his dark hair. Although his outfit contains some yellow and white elements, it is unmistakably one of anime's darker outfits.
Ayato Kirishima Loves Ghoulish Fashion Trends (Tokyo Ghoul)
Ayato Kirishima, Touka Kirishima's younger brother, completely embraced his ghoul nature and, unlike his older sister, found no need to integrate into human society. Instead, Tokyo Ghoul's Ayato joined the Aogiri Tree ghoul group, where he battled with Touka and Ken as a punkish adversary at one point.
Later in Tokyo Ghoul:re, Ayato cleaned up his behavior, yet he still preferred black clothing. Dark clothing and punkish fashion styles are popular among ghouls, and Ayato is no exception. In fight, he even wears black face masks
